Waiting on Wednesday!

For those who don't know what the selection is, it is... Well... Here is the synopsis of the first book:

For thirty-five girls, the Selection is the chance of a lifetime. The opportunity to escape the life laid out for them since birth. To be swept up in a world of glittering gowns and priceless jewels. To live in a palace and compete for the heart of gorgeous Prince Maxon.

But for America Singer, being Selected is a nightmare. It means turning her back on her secret love with Aspen, who is a caste below her. Leaving her home to enter a fierce competition for a crown she doesn't want. Living in a palace that is constantly threatened by violent rebel attacks.

Then America meets Prince Maxon. Gradually, she starts to question all the plans she's made for herself—and realizes that the life she's always dreamed of may not compare to a future she never imagined.

If you refer back to my first post, then you will be able to see my love for not only this book, but for the series as a whole. I will admit that at times it is trying, but the end of each book is AMAZING and worth it every time I read the series.
About a year and a half ago, after Kiera Cass had come to the conclusion of the third and final book, Kiera announced that she was going to continue this series. It is no longer part of a trilogy. The Selection will be a five book series. (What do you call a five book series? A Pentology maybe?)
The next two books in the Selection series follows Eadlyn as she begins the next Selection. This time it is a reverse selection. Instead of a prince chooses his princess, a princess gets to choose her prince. We get an all new perspective with all new characters just as interesting as the last!
The fourth book came out in May, so I'm dedicating my Waiting on Wednesday book to... The next, and the final, book in the Selection series!! Sadly, it is unnamed currently, but I cannot wait for it to come out. We have roughly nine months until the next one! If you want to check out Kiera's website and see waht she is up to click here
